We’ve been waiting a long time for this. No one (at least not that we know of) is offering this in Miami. And believe us, we’ve heard a lot of people ask for this.

We’re thrilled to introduce Fundraising Fundamentals, an educational experience just for people who have entered the fundraising profession in the last two years. A faculty of highly accomplished professionals will lead a cohort of 24 people through an eight-week curriculum designed to introduce students to the important aspects of fundraising.

Fundraising Fundamentals is the first offering in our new PhilanthropyMiami Academy.

The curriculum covers a whole range of topics that new development professionals need to know…from storytelling and annual giving, to major gifts and corporate partnerships.

We’re keeping registration limited so that participants will come away with not just a wealth of knowledge, but the start of a professional peer network.

Classes take place for eight consecutive weeks beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2020, and will take place at United Way of Miami-Dade. The introductory rate for this course is just $349 per person. Depending on demand, another cohort is planned for Fall 2020.
