The Philanthropy Miami Blog
Time Flies
They say time flies when you’re having fun. And let us say, we’ve been having fun these past 25 years.
Today, PhilanthropyMiami is truly leaning into its role as the conveners and curators of Miami’s nonprofit community.
The pandemic may have changed how we do some things, but as we re-emerge, we’re stronger than ever. Our signature Donor Next Door event returns in December, and Ignite! The Collision of Ideas and Impact, our annual conference, is set for May 5, 2022. We’ve just launched the Data for Good Fund in partnership with UpMetrics, which is working with 10 local nonprofits to accelerate their impact by leveraging data to drive decision making and storytelling. Our Innovators webinar series continues on, and this winter, we’ll announce a major expansion of our PhilanthropyMiami Academy course catalog.
So many people and institutions have contributed to our success over the years. Our founders, Teresa Valdes-Fauli Weintraub and Hank Raattama continue to support our goals and dreams, and Abbey Chase and her team from Chase Marketing Group continue to turn those dreams into reality.
To them, and to everyone who has ever come to a PhilanthropyMiami program over the past 25 years, we thank you.
